Paving the path to Reconciliation

UniSA’s Reconciliation Week activities kicked off on Wednesday 27 May at Magill Campus before making the rounds to Mawson Lakes, City East and concluding at City West on Monday 2 June.

Thanks to Student Experience Team, especially Events Coordinator, Dan Hales who has planned these events to support the first Reconciliation Action Plan in a South Australian university.

Mr Hales says, ‘it is extremely important to have both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people involved in discussions, and in the planning and facilitating of such events, to ensure all voices are heard, but also to ensure that non-Aboriginal people are carrying their share of the load in bringing about real, sustainable reconciliation.’
